A TED TALK ON FASHION
Geena Rocero is a Philipine model who is currently living in San Francisco (EE.UU).
She once was a boy when she was little until she realized that she wanted to become a woman and a model. In this video, basically she explains how she came out.
When she was younger, at the age of 15 she assisted to a model catwalk and she saw a man dressed as a woman and she says that she wanted to be like her because she thought that she was the most beautiful women that she has ever seen. In that moment, the model asked Geena why she didn't participate on the catwalk and she said that she would love to but she couldn't. Then that model told Geena not to worry about anything, but she wanted her to model.
Geena won the catwalk and then she realized that she really wanted to become a model.
Geena's mother moved to San Francisco in 2001 and told Geena to move with her but she didn't want to. A few weeks later her mother called her again to ask her one more time to move with her, and she also told Geena that she could change her indentity and her name if she move to San Francisco.
Afterwards, Geena moved to San Francisco, changed her name and came through a plastic surgery to change her genitals. She felt so happy with herself and very lucky.
MY OPINION:
In my opinion, i think that she's very brave to tell this story and i think that she's doing a good job by sharing her story with other people like her, i mean people that want to come out but they don't have the strenght. She is helping to other people to make their mind and to fight for what they really want to become.
Geena has relation with fashion because she's a model and she has the oportunity to share her story and help others.

JOURNALISM
I want to talk about this because i want to become a journalist in a future. I think that journalism is a very important thing in our society nowadays, because it allows us to know important things of everywhere. You can see important things on TV or internet because of the journalism, reporters study the the topic of the news that they want ton show us so we can perfectly understand what's going on in our society.
My favorite site to know news and stuff that doesn't appear on TV is 'Playground' because they have amazing contents and very interesting news. I also usually watch 'Informativos Telecinco' everday after school. I really enjoy watching the news.

How Pope Francis is shaking up the Vatican
Pope Francis is showing his love for outsiders again this time by turning some of them into the ultimate insiders.
He's appointing a batch of new cardinals on Saturday, reshaping the group that will someday choose the next pope. Many of the new men come from lands far distant from Rome: Three are from Africa, two from Asia, one from Oceania, and one from the Middle East. All represent places where the Catholic population is in the minority. In part, Francis has chosen men who are involved in a daily battle with poverty, violence and religious conflict.
MY OPINION: I think that Pope Francis is doing a great job by recolecting people to be inside of the Pope Francis group. And he's doing it even better because he choose men who has been in conflicts.

MAKE UP
Make up is a very important thing in girls life. It is one of my favorite things, because it enhances my own beauty and it is so entertaining to do. I only wear make up on weekends because i think that there's no need to wear it on high school days, but these are my thoughts may be an other person thinks that wearing make up on school is not big deal.
There are a lot of types and brands of make up. There are, shadow palettes, contour palettes, blush, high light palettes, lipsticks, etc. My favorite brand currently is 'KYLIE cosmetics' because it is a 'non-expensive' brand and it has a high quality products. It is from USA but you can buy it on internet in their official shop page.
I learnt how to apply correctly make up by watching videos on youtube. There is an amount of make up videos. I watch them all the time so i can learn new trends and products every day.

Syria war: Aleppo family of 6 killed in 'chemical attack'
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said reports indicated a married couple and their four children were killed in one of many airstrikes to hit the al-Sakhour neighborhood in Aleppo's besieged east. The group said chlorine gas was used in the bombardment. The Aleppo Media Center (AMC) activist group also reported that the family was killed and posted a photo of the aftermath on Twitter.
Several major trauma hospitals were knocked out of service during recent attacks, the organization said.
It is unclear how many children have died in the attacks, but at least four were reported killed in strikes on Wednesday. Activists said there were likely to be more children among the dead.
MY OPINION: War is always bad news. I'm totally against wars, even more if there is children implicated on it. Kids are supposed to play and learn, they're not supposed to be in the middle of wars. Nobody is supposed to be in.
