Kendrick Lamar is a rapper from Compton (USA) he is 29 years old and he is one of the best rappers so far. His songs talk about society issues; hunger, Donald Trump, the black people being killed by police in USA for no reason, how easy is to get weapons in his country, how people have lost humbleness nowadays, etc.
Most of the young rappers of today write songs about unimportant stuff like getting drunk, doing drugs, etc. Kendrick is different because of the way he sings and the style of his lyrics.
He is skin colored and he is proud of it, he does care about the differences between white people and black people. This is the main topic of his songs.
Also he has released one of the best albums of this year 2017 called "DAMN". It was named like this because everything that he says in his songs makes you think about that word, especially at the end of the whole album, once you've listened to it the only thing you can say is Damn. Because it is so "damn" good.
